Landmark Victoria provides organisations with design-it-your-way offices, inspiring meeting rooms and co-working spaces that foster a sense of community. The interior design focuses on wellbeing, with textured space in earthy colours filled with light and plants connecting you to nature, so productivity rises. We’ll be on the first and second floor of the building with lift access and onsite security. Paired perfectly with the modern space is our attentive onsite team, who are moving from our previous building in Victoria to Orchard Place. We intend to keep our ‘make life easy for clients’ approach, whether providing first class concierge services, keeping the kitchen stocked, or organising networking events to help build relationships. Orchard Place is part of a mixed-use development that occupies the former site of the Metropolitan Police HQ, built in 1967, between Broadway and Victoria Street. Intersecting the buildings at Orchard Place is a tree-lined streetscape that will feature music, entertainment and wellness experiences. The last time Victoria Street had a genuine mix of offices, shops and mansion apartments was in the 1850s (by the way, the street, not the railway terminus, was named for the Queen in 1851). Another historical claim to fame is the restored St. Ermin’s Hotel in Caxton Street, used by British Intelligence in the 1930s and World War II.
Victoria has been rising as a business destination since its rejuvenation started in the 2000s. Investment meant drab modernist buildings were replaced with bright commercial and residential developments, and Victoria Station received a massive upgrade. The area remains a vital transport hub convenient for workers and visitors. But now, it’s also a go-to destination close to landmarks such as Buckingham Palace and Westminster and the prestige of nearby Belgravia and Pimlico. With its boutiques, theatres, gyms, cinemas, restaurants and bars, Victoria has become a fresh, vibrant place that will make employees eager to stay.
