London Bridge is an area on the south side of the river Thames and generally covered by much of the London Borough of Southwark. During the last ten years the area has seen a significant level of regeneration on a similar scale to Paddington and King’s Cross.

The Shard dominates the London skyline and is Europe’s tallest building. There is a popular viewing platform to see the stunning view of the capital.
Borough Market is a popular food and crafts market where you can buy fresh bread, artisan coffee and handmade cheeses, amongst other things.
London Bridge crosses the Thames from Southwark to the southern edge of the City at King William Street. The current bridge replaced the 19th century bridge in 1974.
More London is an area along the Thames with a number of impressive office buildings including City Hall, home of the London Mayor.
Potters Fields Park is a riverside green space overlooking Tower Bridge and The Tower of London.
Southwark Cathedral on the south side of the river Thames is an 800 year old landmark and can be easily overlooked, but is well worth a visit.
