A self contained Edwardian period building, it is arranged on lower ground, ground and three upper floors, with a air-conditioned spacious meeting room on the lower ground floor. This building is one of the larger houses on the street and is also one of the earliest to be built and occupied, for it was first rated in 1705. It was the home of Elizabeth Billington, who is described in the Dictionary of National Biography as the greatest singer England has ever produced.
