The Business Centre is on one of the largest industrial estates in Scotland, just off the A8/M8 motorway, between Glasgow and Edinburgh. Offering fully furnished serviced office space to companies of varying sizes. Maxim Office Park opened in 2010, winning the Royal Institute of Chartered Surveyors' Scottish Regeneration Project of the Year Award. This 130m development has transformed a former redundant industrial site to create a parkland landscape with 10 high-specification individual office buildings, retail space, five water features, fountains, waterfalls, a running track, event spaces and even a PGA-accredited nine-hole putting green. The park is built on the site of the former Chunghwa Picture Tubes factory, which closed in 2002. The area is already home to a number of warehouse distribution centres, factories, call centres and a rail freight centre which links with Grangemouth docks 28 miles (45 km) to the north east, England to the south and beyond to mainland Europe. The estate also has a large modern hotel.
Located in the heart of Scotland, on the M8 East-West corridor, Maxim office park is the UK’s ultimate office. It benefits from its close proximity to the main A8/M8 route, located between Scotland’s major cities of Glasgow and Edinburgh. Maxim 1 is in a prime location located at the entrance to the park directly opposite the Dakota Hotel. The park has a convenience store, several sandwich shops and a nursery. For both domestic and an international traveller, Maxim is ideally situated within 30 minutes from Glasgow and Edinburgh International Airports, and just under an hour from Glasgow Prestwick Airport.
