A bright and airy period building providing flexible and affordable offices to rent, plus studios, storage units and a meeting room. The two storey business centre covers 6,995 square feet (649.84 square metres), and offers 18 units for rent. These consist mainly of offices but also some commercial units, ranging from 150 - 1,300 square feet (13.94 - 120.77 square metres) in size. Our meeting room is based on the ground floor and can comfortably seat up to eight people. It can be rented from as little as £15 per hour, with reduced rates for half and full day bookings. As part of the hire charge we offer complimentary use of a projector and flip chart, plus WiFi access and free hot drinks. The center also offers a car park to the front, a breakout area and 24 hour access. The former school, built in 1865, is situated in a conservation area. While it is based in a quiet location, it is within easy commuting distance from all areas of East Lothian including Edinburgh and Prestonpans.
Local Area
Centrally located in East Lothian in the small fishing port of Cockenzie on the south side of the Firth of Forth. It is 2 miles to the east of Edinburgh and close to the A1, which connects the centre with Berwick upon Tweed (46 miles) and Newcastle (100 miles). Prestonpans railway station, Waverley station in Edinburgh and local bus services provide easy transport to the business centre from the surrounding area. However, if you need to travel internationally for your business, Edinburgh Airport is just 20 miles away.
